Jesse & Lindsey Hildreth | Fall Wedding at the The Woodlands in Cottonwood Canyon

October 21, 2016  •  4 Comments

"It's got to be that can't eat, can't sleep, reach for the stars, over the fence, World Series kind of stuff."  Lindsey's Maid of Honor, Erin, awesomely summed up Jesse and Lindsey's love with a quote from, where else?, Mary-Kate and Ashley's 90's movie, It Takes Two. These two have found that kind of love and so much more. With their family, friends, and (I'm guessing basically everyone Jesse went to high school with) ;) gathered around them, they said their "I do's" this weekend at the The Woodlands in Bozeman. Amazingly mild October weather, along with the rich fall colors, plus bouquets by EmiliA Everyday Design and Events and that stunning dress from Eskay Bridal helped make their day beautiful; but my favorite part was the toasts.

Lindsey's Dad, Jim, told us all how he was at a loss for words the day Lindsey was born and again, as he stood there with the mic in his hand after dinner, he was again. Wonderfully funny stories were told by Erin and Kal about growing up with Lindsey and Jesse separately and how they both have a competitive nature. Which on Jesse's side included water chugging contests; and on Lindsey's side the best spit wads. 😂 Everyone in the room was doubled over in laughter. The toasts were long, heartfelt, and funny --- exactly how you'd want to be spoken of on your wedding day. All I heard was how Lindsey and Jesse are amazing people on their own and even better together. I saw it in the easy way they interacted and the happy quirkiness they had when they were alone. As I edited their photos, I saw it again; and I'm so happy I was invited to capture these moments. :)

Congrats, Lindsey and Jesse! I hope you have a marriage as love filled as your wedding and a truly amazing honeymoon in Aruba! <3

These two had so many special details, including this ring box, hand carved by Jesse's grandpa. In addition, an heirloom hand-stitched handkerchief made by her grandmother and that was carried by her grandmother and mother on their wedding days.

Can we take a minute and get excited about Lindsey's dress from Eskay Bridal?! It had a carmel/pinkish hue and was voluminous and gorgeous. I mean, I loved it so much. Who wouldn't?

Jesse secretly had a note written on the ribbon of Lindsey's bouquet. It was probably the sweetest thing I've seen all year.

Jesse gave his Mom, Rhonda, a meaningful look just before the ceremony began. Once again stealing our hearts.

My very favorite part of the day --- Lindsey and Jesse exchanged their personal vows in private as the sun set in the canyon.

When they didn't know what to do with their arms, The Robot was a go to.

...And then they danced. Hard. (I'm assuming) Until the break of dawn.
