Amanda + Chad Lamphear | Wedding at the historic Billings Depot

After months of cold and wind it seems like summer is here! As I write this, it is 80 degrees outside (and 78 inside because thats how I roll), I can hear the Meadowlarks singing, and the trees are finally greening up. Plus, it's ON. I've photographed my first wedding of the season for two awesome lovebirds. Amanda and Chad. #FinallyLamphear

After spending the day with Chad and Amanda, many things were obvious: What great parents they are to their son Kason, how much their friends and family support them, and how they have excellent taste; but one thing stood out for me. THEY ARE FUN. Like a 3 man piggy back pyramid FUN (wait for the photo to see what I mean). As in, DANCE-OFFs; and as in singing "I Want to Grow Old with You" from The Wedding Singer to each other. Plus, they are sweet. As in, nearly breaking down when they saw each other walking down the isle; and Chad sending Amanda flowers to celebrate the fact that "He finally gets to marry his best friend." Sweet. They have been together, growing up, becoming a family, and figuring it out for the past 7 years and they haven't lost track of their chance to really ENJOY each other. I have so much respect and admiration for them, and I'm so glad that we've met; not to mention the fact that I got to be a part of their wedding!

Amanda and Chad planned a simple and gorgeous event at The Historic Billings Depot in downtown Billings, Montana. Better To Gather Events decorated the baggage and passenger rooms with coral touches, plus an awesome lace, burlap, and bistro light canopy. The very talented, past "Hayley Heser Bride", CeCelia Rinaldi, styled the girls' hair like a boss. Amanda looked killer in her David's Bridal tulle wedding dress, while Chad and the bridal party rocked formal wear from Step'n Out in Billings. Other vendors that made the evening were:

Music by Dave Austin at Magic City Productions

Cake by Ruth at Dancing Oven Bakery

Flowers by Amber Fox

Makeup by Jennaraye English

Officiate was Pat Clark
