In the week leading up to Danielle and Justin's wedding, it stormed on Thursday, it stormed on Friday, some neighboring towns were hit by baseball sized hail, there were tornados... THAT TOUCHED DOWN, and yet Saturday was forecasted to be the worst yet. But, I was optimistic. I woke up Saturday to 20-some mile an hour wind, but I knew it would calm down by picture time. And it did. Danielle and Justin had such a beautiful day, albeit a little breezy, everything worked out perfectly. We set up their sweet First Look in Justin's parents front yard and ventured to their row of Russian Olive trees for their gorgeous first moments together. Russian Olives may not be known so much for their beauty as they are for their survival skills in Eastern Montana, but they photograph gorgeously behind a couple in love.
Every step of the way, the weather mercifully gave us just enough time to capture the happy moments of their day. The fireworks (Thunder and lightning) were forecasted to start at 5pm, same as their ceremony. Graciously, it held off until everyone was safely inside for dinner. Then it poured, and the thunder cracked, and everyone got a little nervous about their cars outside. Once again, the storm sidestepped the town of Circle and left Danielle and Justin to their celebration.
I think only half of the town showed up for the reception at the County Fairgrounds. Danielle and her soon-to-be Aunt Mistica dressed up the fair building in lights and tulle creating a pretty rustic setting for the festivities while Danielle and Justin brought in their first night of marriage with a loving community cheering them on.
Danielle and Justin fell in love exploring the gravel roads around Circle, Montana so we ventured down a nearby road for some shots of the two of them while the lightning and thunder cracked around us.
